Interested In Buying Garments?

Returns Policy

We appreciate that our customers need to try on clothes and see the condition of vintage garments before committing themselves to making a purchase. For this reason if you are unhappy with an item for any reason we will refund you. Return the garment to us immediately in the same condition as you received it and we will refund the purchase costs. We regret we cannot refund postal charges.

Sizing

We do quote any manufacturers sizes labelled in our clothes, but vintage and modern sizes often differ and even then, there is no universal standard. The measurements supplied in inches and centimetres for each item, are taken from the actual garment laying flat on the floor. Unless the fabric is stretchy your actual body measurements should be smaller than the garment to allow room for movement. To make sure it's going to fit you we advise that take one of your own garments which you consider fits perfectly, lay it flat on the floor and measure across. We hope the measurements we supply will be sufficient, but we are happy to provide you with any additional measurements that you require.

Interested In Selling Your Garments?
If you have vintage Ossie Clark or 1960s - 1990s designer garments that you would like to sell, we would be most interested in hearing from you. We believe that we offer an excellent and highly competitive service to our clients achieving good prices for their garments.
  • Firstly we need to know exactly what it says on the label. Designers produce a range of clothing under their name and some are more valuable than others.
  • For a vintage garment to achieve its maximum potential price it must be in excellent or very good condition. If you are aware of damage, repair, alteration or fault to your garment please inform us.
  • In order for us to make a final valuation we need to see it. Once we have accepted it for sale, we keep it until sold.
  • We'll give you a receipt for your item stating an agreed selling price.
Of course we can't guarantee you a sale, and will return it to you if at any time should you change your mind about selling it. Contact us about your vintage items for sale.
