(l) Nigel Waymouth and (r) John Pearse, two of the original owners of Granny Takes A Trip who opened the boutique in December 1965 on Kings Road. The William Morris print jacket is one of their original garments.

l - r. Mark Butterfield, Nigel Waymouth and John Pearse. I'm wearing a green Granny Takes a Trip suit which dates from around 1970 and therefore was made for the boutique after Nigel and John had sold up. The suit originally belonged to Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.
